Back in 2011!

Hi everyone! It's been a while since we've last connected, and we hope that you are having a wonderful 2011 so far. We just wanted to share another HUGE thank you to all of you who made our first Project Pasko a big success!

In case you haven't heard from us directly, your gifts and donations arrived in the Philippines safe and soundly, and into the excited hands of the children of the Oikos Orphanage. The community gathered together to watch the children receive their gifts. Following this, Sister Mines of the Oikos Family wrote to us with a heartfelt thank you (excerpt below):

"Thank you for your love and support. You should have seen the awe and joy on the children's faces when they received their gifts. It was really a very noble and love-filled task that you have done for some of our less fortunate children in Borongan. We hope and pray that it was just the beginning and your love relationship with our very poor children in Borongan will continue."

We've added several photos from this event, courtesy of Tita Amelia in Borongan. Again, thank you all for your help in making this happen, and for being a part of these childrens' Christmas and undoubtedly an unforgettable moment of their lives. We do hope you will be a long-lasting part of this wonderful tradition.

Thanks so much to our parents, friends, our performers, and Taste of Asia for supporting us at Project Pasko's Christmas in October event! It was a great turnout and we had a great time!

We raised about $650 in donations and received over 30 gifts!

Christmas in October - Please Join Us for a Spectacular Fundraiser Event!

We're holding a special Project Pasko Fundraiser. Check it out!:
